I have sent many resumes to companies that match my skills very well. I rearly hear back from the companies. I am not sure if I should be following up after I send the resumes. If So, many times online you are not given a contact name or phone number, how would one follow up.
Thank you

Oops, somehow I posted my response to your question on another post. Sorry!! Here it is for you:
With the onslaught of the internet job search, so many large and small companies use databases to receive, store and sort incoming resumes.
If your resume isn't keyword rich, this may be one reason why you aren't getting calls.
Today, with databases in place for screening purposes, resumes must be keyword heavy - and keyword focused. If not - becoming a victim of database elimination will happen again and again.
The trick: Knowing what keywords to put in your resume for the positions you are seeking and, on the other side of that coin, knowing what keywords are relevant to that employer and the position they are trying to fill.
