I have been doing computer consulting for 18 months now, and would like to get into IT Audit. I am taking the CISA in JUNE but so far have had no interest from employers in my resume. I have changed my resume multiple times, but obviously have no experience in audit. Everyone wants at least one year of IT audit / controls experience? Yeah right, when no one is willing to give you a chance! I graduated Cum Laude and thought I would have no problem landing that first great job, instead I'm going in a completely different direction and feel trapped. I'm too old to change careers again. Does anyone have any contacts for entry level IT Audit positions or something that would lead to it?
