I have been working the past 3 years as a small package courier putting about 2,000 miles weekly on my second car now and working 60 hours weekly. Pays the bills and nice not being stuck in corporate cubicle on nice day, but I feel like I am wasting my degrees and licenses and 20 years experience, despite my daily job search. "We want somebody doing this type of work currently". Recruiters seem to be looking for perfect job description match with your most recent position. Oh well, I will keep praying while driving! |

Sounds like you are in a small town. Places that have more than 100,000 people seem to have more options.
Have you tried a placement agency that specializes in people with your educational background?
