In Reply To: I guess I must be one of the lucky ones. I have 25 years of experience, worked in investment banking/consulting, and now I'm copying and pasting data into Excel worksheets and doing misc. administrative/clerical work. I feel your pain. All this education and experience for what? I don't think it's getting any better either. I've been in misery for four years now.
Message: I have been working the past 3 years as a small package courier putting about 2,000 miles weekly on my second car now and working 60 hours weekly. Pays the bills and nice not being stuck in corporate cubicle on nice day, but I feel like I am wasting my degrees and licenses and 20 years experience, despite my daily job search. "We want somebody doing this type of work currently". Recruiters seem to be looking for perfect job description match with your most recent position. Oh well, I will keep praying while driving!
