In Reply To: You say "Contracts negotiation is a job done by the internal MS legal group, a full time "blue badge" job." MS hires armies of lawyers. But they do not (to my knowledge and EXPERIENCE) get involved on contract negotiation. It's up to the biz or often program manager to negotiate the terms and conditions on the agreements. MS LCA (lingo for MS legal group) merely reviews the contract negotiated by PM and that's it. On more ordinary agreements, it's only reviewed by LCA admin. You know what they say: ask nicely and sincerely and someone may help but your rather unpleasant attitide won't get you there. Try to be nicer, OK?
