I will look at the MS career website. I do not have any contacts there, so I guess that I am stuck with the online application and maybe a mail-in resume...hoping that it gets to the right person.
Getting CONTACTS are the most difficult part of the job search!!

MS has a message board on Vault. After finding the job posting, you might post a message on the board asking if anyone knows a good way to get your resume in front of the hiring manager. It's possible someone might offer to help.
Another option is to see if the MS website lists an address for their Legal Group and maybe the name of their General Counsel. If you can get a name and address, go ahead and send your resume and cover letter to that person. It might never get past his admin, but s/he might forward it to the hiring manager which would still give you a better shot than just submitting online.
