If you've done contract negotiations for tech or consulting firms, I just saw on the MS job site that they have a contracts position open. I think it was somewhere on the East Coast. If you know anyone who works for MS, do a search for the positon on their careers site, send it to your contact and ask him/her to submit your resume to the hiring manager. You can submit your resume online, but it will go into the black hole. Smaller companies are more likely to reply to online resumes than large companies. |

Did you see the contract opening in MS career website? I doubt it as contract or commonly knowns as "orange" badge (vs blue for regular employee) are not posted on the MS website. What you may see is ads from temp companies on monster and other websites.
If this was posted in MS career website than get the 6 digit job code. Have your internal MS contact get you the hiring manager email alias along with HR contact alias. You can send the email directly with resume as attachment. Most contract negotiation/procurement/purchasing jobs are located in Sammamish campus located about 10 miles from Redmond in Issaquah. By the way, internal MS employee are not supposed to give out the info...
Good Luck
PS - please don't ask me for help.
