One way to try to do this is to find a position in the UK office of a global accounting firm, get a year or two under your belt, and see if you can transfer or get assigned to the US.
I don't know anything about accounting, but I'm wondering if the accounting principles are the same in the UK and US? It might be a challenge to find a US firm that would hire someone not versed in GAAP or who is not a CPA. |

I heard there is a quota of H1-B and that they started giving them out on April 1st (these H1's will become effective on October 1st). When during the summer do you think they will run out of H1's?
