HI.
I am from the UK and am looking to obtain a job in the USA. I need to find an organisation that will sponsor me for a H1B visa.
I have contacted various recruitment agencies requesting advise & whether the companies they represent would undertake this visa process. I have met with a dead end.
Can anyone advise how I can find out which companies sponsor international candidates. Or can anyone provide any contacts?
I am a qualified accountant (ACMA), hold a BA (Hons) in Accounting and am on the home stretch of my masters.

One way to try to do this is to find a position in the UK office of a global accounting firm, get a year or two under your belt, and see if you can transfer or get assigned to the US.
I don't know anything about accounting, but I'm wondering if the accounting principles are the same in the UK and US? It might be a challenge to find a US firm that would hire someone not versed in GAAP or who is not a CPA.
