Wow--this is indeed an interesting statistic. One in 1500+ resumes? Man, you have definitely depressed me this evening...
In any event, I guess that this is just more evidence that it's not about what you know, but it's much more about who you know (like anybody needed to be reminded about this again).

I have been debating the same questions regarding mass email to recruiters for 80 bucks. Recruiters should pay more attention, right?
