I think that it really depends on which group(s) your offer is with -- I think the cap markets group at DrKW is pretty strong (there's a good survey in the recent 'Euromoney' mag) and their i-bank seems to get more deals...
but it seems like there is a lot of uncertainty at drkw right now (and, it seems, since 2000) whereas rbs seems to be gathering momentum...
yazbro -- "from whence you speak" -- what do you think of drkw in general? have there been a lot of defections after berger's departure? i'm starting there this summer and I'm a bit worried now (too bad I already accepted my offer...) |

Sorry for the delay in responding, I've been out of town whipping some bad clients (Joe Pesci school of workouts - crack their heads with a bat).
I just know that RBS seems more an "up-and-comer" than DrKWB; partly based on your deal flow assessment and knowing people at both places (albeit most of my DrKWB are now gone). The key is stability - take it from someone who worked in German-speaking institutions. One place had a restructuring plan every other month. RBS just seems a bit more stable.
Cheers,
- Yazbro
