I know exactly where you're coming from. I lost my job of 10 yrs over a situatuation like yours. My female manager was hired in above me. At first things were great, until I disagreed with her. Once that happen she totally became emotional at work when things did not go her way. She eventually tagged me as being one who did not have the companies best interest. Just like with your case, she played the role of liking me in the other employees eyes. But would tear me down to the senior manager. I lost my job, and it seems that nothing can be done about it. What can I do? I now have a fear of working with female employees. |

Based on your comments take it as a rule....
Relationships should always be outside of the office.
Woman workers/ Male workers are basically co-workers with no intentions or feeling of a relationship behind it. If you have a female manager treat her as you would any other manager. Don't fear working with a female, it would be the same as working with a male, if they have animosity against you they will do the same thing. Be proud of your work and your self respect and it will be pronounced around you.
Good Luck and treat this as experience in dealing with people.
