Director of Carrier Relations
Position Overview:
In this role you will be responsible for initiating and developing relationships with wireless carriers / operators in order to create revenue sharing opportunities on a global level. This will include prospecting, negotiation, and closing the partnership. We are currently searching for candidates to lead a few different markets throughout the world (North America, Asia, and Eastern Europe). Additional duties will include:
Generating proposals for carriers/operators
Working with our legal counsel to identify contract terms that are favorable to SMS.ac
Working with external / internal engineering, business development and customer support teams to maximize the consumer experience
Evaluating an existing market/carrier and identifying additional revenues opportunities
Candidates should possess:
Strong deal closing ability - Prospect, initiate, develop, close and maintain
Negotiator - Strong verbal negotiating skills, as well as the ability to draft and develop profitable term sheets
Presentation - Ability to prepare and present dynamic, strategic, and understandable presentations
Communication - Superb communication skills, both oral and written
Self Starter - Having a passion for the business, someone who is positive and has a can-do attitude, as well as the ability to effectively manage oneself and prioritize
International and/or Wireless experience - 2 plus years in these areas would be very beneficial
Business Development and Account Management
Proven track record with 4 to 8 + years focusing primarily on nurturing win-win relationships and partnerships with mid-to-large companies
