I have been working for 5 years, 2 in Public Acctg, and 3 for an entertainment company. I am thinking about making a career change and becoming a recruiter. I don't want to feel like my education and experience are going down the drain. Can anybody give me advice on the recruiting industry? Temp vs Perm? |

I to worked in public accounting and then made the switch to recruiting. I only did it for two months. Simply put it is a sales position. If you like a sales environment then you will be successful. As for keeping current on your skills take CPE courses offered by the AICPA or NYSSCPAs.
