Although gettting your name out is important, what YOU need are INTERVIEWS with people who can hire you.
The best way to get interviews is to approach your job hunt for what it really is: a MARKETING problem.
Don't know how to market yourself effectively? Get help from somone who does. Effective help will be too good to be free, but your education wasn't free, either. There's a cost for everything...including for not getting the help you need, so don't look thru the wrong end of the telescope. |

What I am trying to get at is I want to meet people who are in the field and see how they feel about it. I see this as a huge change for me and I want to make sure that I make the right move. After months of researching and finally realizing what I want to do I am just overwhelmed by what my next step would be.
