I am on the job market this year and want to apply for equity research postitions at the major finacial institutions(Citi,JP/Chase,ML,ect.) As the last post indicates, it's useless to apply to jobs online. This is particularly true in my case, as I would like to attach my research papers, in addition to my resume, to give to potential employers. I was wondering is there any place I can go to get the email address of recruiters at these institutions. My contacts suck, as my department is unfortunately geared toward the academic market. I would really appreciate some advice. |

I am facing the same situation. i am grad student in electrical engineeering and looking for positions in major chip design companies (IBM,Intel,AMD,SUn etc.)
If i come across any opening online, i try to find out phone no of the HR department somehow (say yellow pages); its not easy but giving them a call helps
lemme know if u come a across better way of getting those elusive email-ids
