Now that I finally have job offers I have two I need to make a decision on. Job A has a decent salary, good benefits and tuition reimbursement which would help since I plan on going back to grad school and most importantly it's in the field I wish to pursue. Unfortunatly it's a contract until Sept. 2005 because they are hoping a better position in the company will open up for me, so basically they want to hold on to me until then. BUT they don't guarentee that a position will open.
Job B pays more, same benefits, is guarenteed permanent but isn't in my planned future goals.
Should I go for Job A even though there's no guarentee for permanent status, OR Job B with more money, guarenteed security but not in my future interest? |

You've just graduated - the emphasis should be on gaining experience (job A is in the field you intend to pursue), and enhancing your prospects (job A offers tuition reimbursement); I know there's a risk that you won't be kept on, but it's early days career-wise and I'd suggest prioritising (potential) opportunity ahead of security....best of luck.
