In fact, I registered with several "headhunters" in the DC area B4 I knew whether I passed the bar or not b/c I was desparate for a job. They continue to send me notices of a need for document review/contract attorneys, but ALL of them ask for licensed attorneys.
Although I know it's true, according to the headhunters themselves, that there actually ARE these kind of positions for unlicensed attorneys, in 3 months, none have come up.
Thanks for your condolences; I appreciate it. But I will not give up -- will study and take it again in February.

For the months I was waiting for the bar results, April, May, June, 2004, I had no trouble getting document review work while I was waiting for my gov't job position to come through. Hmmm. Is that what all temp agencies told you? that you had to be licensed?
