I'm sorry to hear you didn't pass the bar.
In the meantime, you may want to do document review work as a contract attorney. Even if you're not licensed anywhere firms are always looking for document review contract attorneys. You should contact Pat Taylor & Associates and Hirecounsel. The pay is pretty good actually.

In fact, I registered with several "headhunters" in the DC area B4 I knew whether I passed the bar or not b/c I was desparate for a job. They continue to send me notices of a need for document review/contract attorneys, but ALL of them ask for licensed attorneys.
Although I know it's true, according to the headhunters themselves, that there actually ARE these kind of positions for unlicensed attorneys, in 3 months, none have come up.
Thanks for your condolences; I appreciate it. But I will not give up -- will study and take it again in February.
