I was fired for not for performance, but for violating a new company policy. I did not do anything illegal or offend anyone. It was just an honest mistake. HR says their policy is to only give dates of employment. What should I tell interviewers? Even if I tell the truth, HR won't comment on it. Help. |

I would suggest you tell half truth. it doesn't hurt anyone. Just say you are looking for a new opportunity and not talk about the past.
Be assured that if you say you were fired, you will not get a job
