Message: I have been recommended for a job by a CIO whom I knew long time back. I never worked directly with him and so donot know him well. I immediately wrote him a thank you note but have been hesistant to call him for the fear that he may think I am a pain in the wrong place. I had my interview for this position (with other people in the company )last friday. Is it appropriate to call CIO? If so what should I say to him? What is the right thing to do without sounding desperate to get the job ( which I am)? Please help!!!!
