How long would YOU work for someone without being paid for your efforts? One day? One week? Three months? What?
The reason why NO ONE will "get" you a job on the terms you want, is because of fear that they won't get paid for their work.
Recruiters work ONLY for employers, because there's rarely a problem getting paid by THEM.
