Message Name: Don't Include The Job

In Reply To: I recently landed what I thought would be a terrific opportunity. Unfortunately, when I started the job I quickly realized that it was not. I have been working at the new organization for about a month, but I am already looking for a new job. My question: Do I include this job on my resume? I think that it would look bad if I am looking for a new job after only one month of employment with them. I also don't want to be deceptive. I really am not sure what to do about this. Thanks!
Message: While your honesty is respectable, you are talking about only several weeks of unemployment. Many employers understand taking a break to look more thoroughly or simply are going through a tough campaign. Your resume should include those experiences which were equally honest back to you and reflect your career path, not paths off course. It is ok to have tried something here or there, but employers don't give you all of the details (as you found out), and you don't have to either. You are a great professional and an employer will benefit from your obvious good work ethic and honesty!
