I recently landed what I thought would be a terrific opportunity. Unfortunately, when I started the job I quickly realized that it was not. I have been working at the new organization for about a month, but I am already looking for a new job. My question: Do I include this job on my resume? I think that it would look bad if I am looking for a new job after only one month of employment with them. I also don't want to be deceptive. I really am not sure what to do about this.
Thanks! |

My first instinct is to say not to put it on there, but I think it depends on several things such as the # of years you were in your previous positions that you have listed on your resume. I also think it depends on the type of position it is and what you would like to search for. Does the current position show that you have had continued growth in your profession or is it a lateral job move? Is the position that you will be looking for a lateral? These are all questions to ask yourself.
