I see you were unable to find any sources whatsoever for any of the points (because you are wrong) so you end the debate.
Your article is about the unemployment rate ("5.6%") which is calculated using a survey. The nonfarm numbers that you are now talking about are also gotten via a survey. You don't "fall off" of either after 26 weeks. You have not shown anything that suggests you do. It's amusing to me that even after being shown over and over you are either to stubborn or stupid to admit this.
You are not supposed to stay on the survey it is rotated to increase accuracy by getting new households at random (i.e. what a statistical survey is supposed to do).
I wanted to see if you had any ??journalistic integrity?? (I guess not)... Reading up on economic data/articles is part of my job and something I do anyway.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading thru your well-researched comments debunking thinkandask's posts. I cannot comment on the BLS issue as I have not spend the time researching it. But to go back to the original thread of the discussion, when thinkandask said he thought his website was causing him problems on his job search, I would have to say yes. We all know people who write wordy memos laying out accusations and unfounded theories, (at work) and when you respond to them bullet by bullet, they pick and choose the items that they wish to debate, and cloud the waters on other issues. If i was hiring, I would not want someone like thinkandask on my team, just I would have to wonder, if you are getting into this type of detailed thrust and parry with just one issue from your website, no doubt there are many others where you are wasting time on this discourse, how many hours have you wasted pursuing this vault discussion, where you could have been searching for a job? Naturally, the employer would wonder how much actual work they'd get out of you or if you were just looking for a income stream to support your website. Now, I say this at considerable risk that you would attempt to hook me into a long winded discussion, but I only offer it because you asked for our opinion as to whether this might be causing your problem, and I would have to answer with a hearty agreement!
