Hey, I (female) am starting my first job, and was told the dress code is "Business Casual"
Please advise on how to shop for it. e.g. example of bascis, and style.
Or any website with actual picture may help. thanks!!!

not sure where you are (I can't speak for California) or what industry you'll be working in ... and I don't want to argue with the poster who said you don't need suits. But - think about working some non-formal, comfortable suits into your wardrobe.
As a woman, I find I get a lot more mileage out of funky, stylish pantsuits (e.g. one has a jeans-style jacket, but made out of tweed) than out of dress pants with sweaters. You definitely don't want to overdress, so no uniform-looking things.
For me personally, looking (and feeling) dressed and secure requires a jacket, whether or not it's part of a suit. YMMV (=your mileage...)
Good luck, have fun, and by all means do reality-checks on any advice you get ... I'm thinking of the British 'What not to wear' show, where they say that a discrete show of nipple can perk up an outfit, and that showing a "cheeky bit of tummy" can break up a long waist.
