You're playing with words:--
STOP.
Use the words in their proper meaning:
"Business casual," means, 1. business.
The "casual" part, doesn't mean anything: It's a placeholder for, "We don't dress you: You don't run us."
How do you do that?
1. Buy lots of business clothes.
2. Put something together that fits the day (or the occasion when so demanded: If you're always in-character, the upper echelon can rely upon you for occasions, too).
Cf Don't buy all white shirts and black trousers and blue ties: Get some variety. Get a larger perception of business.
Don't bother with the notion that casual plays-up to business;-- unless of course you hired-on with Hollywood, and business, means anything from paisley, to wordshirts block-lettered "BACKOFFICE" (there's a pun in that, too).
What is business? (Hold the puns: We all read that she graduated with an MBA.) ...
Generally, businesswear fits your operation: indoor shoes for indoor office (That means leather soles, indoors, are okay;-- not for streetsales).
