In Reply To: just went to an onsite interview on Monday for an engineering position. They grilled me in technical questions. I took the effort to write thank you letters to everyone i interviewed for. On Wednesday, one of the engineering group leaders to whom i might be reporting to wrote back to me saying " You are very welcome. Ed (HR manager) should be contacting you in a few days to give you some additional details. Later! k" and thats it. Does anyone have an idea what this means ? Is this a double edge sword ? AND I may not get the job ? Any experiences or suggestions would be helpful
Message: I recently interviewed and received a job offer for a position the following day. (I forgot to send any thank you notes!) They usually only contact you with "further details" if you got the position. I had a friend who interviewed a few weeks before I did and was not hired. She said that HR called her with courtesy "feedback". The message they left for me was that they had "additional information" to give me which ended up being an offer. The best of luck to you.
