Hey there:
I have been actively responding to online job offers in my field. I have a decent resume and have 15+ years of experience yet NO ONE replies to me from these postings! I understand the internet job postings are not the do-all/end-all of the job search, but c'mon! How about one response! What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions? Thanks. |

They're the only way to go. I looked up "financial services headhunters" on Google, then proceeded to e-mail my resume and cover letter to every single one of them.
In the end, I netted many headhunters, but one finally paid off and got me a position.
It took me 6 months to find the right job...
