Many employers are requesting a salary history from me when I go to apply for work. I would like some advice in this area > I had a steadily increasing salary prior to pursuing my MBA. I was salaried at 55k my last year at a consultancy and 70k my final year at an investment bank before embarking for school. Now in the last 3 years since I have graduated, the economy has only left me with piecemeal - contract positions at a low hourly rate. My current 2 year contract only pays $15/hour with a balloon payment of 50k upon completion and contingent upon some other events taking place.
How can I best present this to recruiters? Anyone have ideas? Thank you.
