Compliance jobs in Houston? |

I'm thinking about relocating to Houston, Texas from NYC. I'm currently in a junior-level compliance position where I am being grossly underpaid ($10-$15K less than what the average NYC compliance person at my level makes).
I'm wondering if there is much of a market for banking/broker-dealer compliance people in Houston and what the salary range would be. I'm worried that (a) there isn't much of this type of business in Houston and (b) that my salary is so low by NYC standards that it won't give me much negotiating power in Houston.
Any advice?
