I just got turned down with Charles River Associates here in Houston. I have a law degree from Fordham and have worked as a junior consultant for a few years now, but I'm looking for a firm which will allow me to work on developing clients *as well as* perform the mundane, nuts and bolts work.
Anybody have tips on what I can do to distinguish myself in the consultancy job market here in Houston? I understand most firms have been laying off people.
