Graduated from 2nd tier MBA school in midwest, 1 year prior work experience as a financial analyst, and facing the following dilemma in this terrible job market:
When I apply for 60k jobs, they tell me i dont have enough experience.
When I apply for 40k jobs (entry-level), they tell me i am overqualified since i have an mba and they fear i will leave as soon as the market gets better.
Do you think I can just remove the MBA from my resume and then apply for the entry-level jobs? I am desperate at this point and need an income to pay my bills. And my MBA seems to be standing between me and the entry-level investment/finance jobs.
HELP!!
