I used Bernard Haldane Associates and their main piece of advice was networking networking networking .... they charged me 6,000 for that advice - I meet with them every 2 weeks and I do get some tips and leads but it's questionable if it was worth that price... |

Lightning does strike twice...or more. I've been mergered/acquisitioned out of a job 3 times back-to-back-to-back. Each time I've been to recruiters for assistance. While they've provided some help, the only one to ever get me back on my feet and into another/better job was me and my efforts. Don't spend the money. Do your homework and don't give up. The jobs are there, regardless of what anyone tells you.
