I read your response and I said Amen! I have been down the same road either myself or through my husband. Unemployment is purgatory and worse than heaven or hell!
I lost my job due to a closing and 10 years later I am still trying to fight my way back to the same level I had. I have had to start over many times for sad pay and I feel broken many times. I am in school now hoping to better my options, but without the experience to back up my new skills, I know that I am just a number and the 30 seconds review of my resume will end up in file 13! |

Sending resumes is akin to entering a Giant Resume Lottery.
If you need or want interviews, don't rely on a resume. There are other ways. Maybe you'll need professional help to be able to make it happen, but there are lots of professionals out there who would know what to do to help you. I'm just one of
many.
