Hi, I'm 35 and been working tech for about 5 years, training software or doing actual tech work like hardware and/or help desk. I got fired from a full-time job close to a year and a half ago. I've worked several short-term tech positions since then, and fired from one two of them as well. Obviously I hate the tech field and I am seeking new direction. I would love to work in the Human Services field working with addicts, (NOT why I got fired! :P ) or teaching kids, or along those lines. I have a BA but not a Masters, and no real experience in those fields, and not enough time or money to just volunteer for a while. What is the best thing I can say in interviews? Believe it or not, I can make an excellent resume, so I actually go on lots of interviews, but if anyone works in those fields that I am interested in, please chime in. Whether with interview advice or with resume advice. Thanks! A lot!

Additionally, I would also be interested in pursing a career in HR. I am very good at talking with people, and I enjoy the interview process very much. Again, any suggestions for resume and/or interviewing? Thanks again!
