Message: Hello! I recently posted my resume on Monster, actually I should say reactivated it after deactivating it since I found my current job. I did find my current job through Monster. I know my employer searches Monster for job candidates. That means that there's a possibility that they will see my resume on Monster and based on job experience description on the resume, matches it up with a current employee, me (even though current employer is confidential on the resume, job description is specific). I'm not so concerned about HR recruiters, but if somehow my resume got passed to my very current manager (and yes, he'll know it's me!), it'll at least trigger some judgement in his head that I'm not entirely committed to my current job (or will it?). Not that my posting resume out there has anything to do with him, but at least I'll have to deal with his perception, which means a lot in my organization. How do I explain that diplomatically if somehow that got between us? Thank you!
