JPMC-MS, obviously you are an insider and I was wondering your opinion on something.
I am entering the firm this summer as an intern.
I am choosing to be placed in M&A, LevFin or TMT, is this a pretty good selection for my top three choices, all things equal?

I would only suggest against M&A. M&A cycles can be so long that you might end up feeling like you received such a dramatically cut view of the group during your summer months.
Also, keep in mind that it can be beneficial to strategically place as your number 1 pick a group that might be less popular. If everyone lists the same #1, #2, #3 -- then someone will be unhappy. If you put what might be everyone else's #2 as your #1, you will benefit -- you'll save yourself from potentially getting shut out to your #3 choice. Hope that makes sense.
