JPMC-MS, obviously you are an insider and I was wondering your opinion on something.
I am entering the firm this summer as an intern.
I am choosing to be placed in M&A, LevFin or TMT, is this a pretty good selection for my top three choices, all things equal?

From an internship standpoint, TMT is probably the best group to work in right now. From what I heard from the previous interns the deal flow is amazing and the people in the group were all real easy to get along with. Hours were rough but not obscene. The group had a tough time until 2003 but they've recovered as with most groups which are heavily correlated to the economy.
Pretty much all the interns from the previous summer who were given offers are returning to the group. This year I think there's a lot of demand for TMT and it's the def top of my list with FSG right under.
