Hi, I've been browsing through this message board and it looks like there are a lot of good information here. I'm interested in the Investment Bank Operations Division. I understand that it's different from the IB itself, and that it is part of the middle office. I've had a highly unsuccessful experience at a company which is big in name but once you're inside, you get to realize how unprofessional and unprogressive the environment is here. I don't want to go through another failed experience so I wanna get as much inside scoop as I can before I make the transition. If someone could please let me know, at least in general what the experience is like at IB Operations I would appreciate it greatly. I'm not doubting the company as I know it's one of the leading companies in the financial field, but I'm just worried that the people in IB Operations will be unprofessional, second-tier, with no outlook in your career. I've learned through my experience at my current company that it's really not the brand that counts.....
