In Reply To: Hi fffe, thank you very much for the tip-off!! Here are two more questions for you: 1. I heard the rumour that some of the IB interviewers can be very aggressive asking aggressive questions. The purpose is to put you under lots of pressure and see how you respond. Is that the case with JPM first round or it depends on which division you are interviewing with (e.g. Sales&Trading vs Ops)? How to deal with it? 2. Did you have any questions that aim at testing your logical thinking and reasoning abilities. For instance, one of my friends was asked by another IB to estimate what percentage of British population read The Guardian on a normal day. It is not about giving out the right answer but the way you deduce it. Any thoughts on that? BTW, fffe, did you go to the final round asscessment centre? Looking forward to your reply (or anybody who can help) Thank you all very much once again!!
Message: I did not give a thought to it before, but now I really think that Ops are not for the top talent. It is also reflected in the test requirements. Yes. After the first 2 interviews I've been through 2 tests. And to pass them you must score more than 50% in both, which is easy in my opinion with due training. So the only hard stuff is the soft stuff - I mean your soft skills which will be revealed at assessment center. Anyone can right anything in the CV but then you have to prove it in practice. And there no preparation can help you. to JPMC-MS, do you know if JPM is taking people which failed once before? Thanx!
