I'm an undergrad.. I just graduated this past May and am looking for jobs in the financial industry. Specifically M&A, research or Portfolio management. I'm looking to more buy side of the business now but I guess at this stage, I can't be picky.
Its been rough finding jobs without connections, but I'm hoping someone will hire me.
Goldman is pretty tough to get in the door if you haven't graduated from a top ivy league or top tier school with a 4.0 gpa. Ha!
I graduated from Syracuse, and have had an extensive work experience working with PWM firms, some of which are large and some small.
I was just curious as to the work environment at Goldman thats all.
Why did you leave PWM?

Pregunta:
So you knew people in PWM at GS? Or did professors help you out in your networking initiatives? I guess PWM is one of the more lax divisions at GS as opposed to Investment banking. Do you suggest I apply online to give it a shot? Or will it be impossible to get noticed that way?
I know GS does its recruitment thru applications online.
Any assistance or advice you can give me would be great! thanks so much
