They are different beasts-the CFA costs about 1500 bucks and a couple hundred hours of study. The MBA will run around 25-50k and take 1-2 years. I would say go for both if you can. And the CFA gives you credibility which is all teh more important if you have little or no experience. |

The CFA program takes a minimum of 3 years, with a minimum of 750-900 hours of concentrated study; a difficult undertaking when working full time.
