I love how posters think they have an inside scoop for a job they see posted on jobtrak. Fidelity is the company you were talking about, so why not just come out and say Fidelity. |

I didn't mention the compay because it's irrelevant to my question. The reason that I asked the question is because I'm wondering if it's normal practice for a firm to be thinking about its openings a year ahead of time. Hell... I got my undergrad degree in 1994, and the economy was way different then. I didn't have to start thinking about life after college until the semester that I was graduating.
Go ahead and call me stupid for asking the question, but I know that I'm not the only one changing careers and who doesn't know all the ins and outs of this field.
