I am looking to get into a mutual fund analyst position and down the road a portfolio manager role. What is the best way to get into an analyst position? Does anyone have personal experience working as a mutual fund analyst? What is the compensation like? I am starting the CFA program and an evening MBA program at and working as a financial planner at the sametime. Does anyone know what portfolio managers typically make?
