I am currently a senior finance and economics major. This semester, I am taking Corporate Finance II, Portfolio Management, Derivatives, and Intermediate Accounting...With that, how much time should I allocate studying for the May CFA: Level 1. Will these classes and Schweser notes be effective enough to pass, given I retain all info, as well as prior FIN/ECO/ACCT. class material.
Thanks in advance. |

a buddy of mine took the L1 in june, right before he graduated in august. his study habits were decent leading up to the test, but he really clamped down like 3 weeks before the test and passed. i dont recommend doing what he did since he is a finance whiz.
those are good classes, but make sure you learn a lot in those classes. the notes are good too. i'd talk to your professors and ask them what they think about your knowledge base and how to best prep for the test. best of luck; the cfa is a monster!
