I need some advice. I have an economics degree from the University of Illinois, and I'd really like to get into equities trading since I like the market so much, but my GPA was only 2.9 I do have 4 months work experience in sales with Wells Fargo Financial, which was in consumer finance, but that has nothing to do with trading. I've read several books on trading, and I'm studying to get a series 7 license, but I don't know how tough it will be to land a position. Should I even bother going for the series 7? Any thoughts or comments would be apppreciated.
