It is a retail brokerage firm that is a part of Citigroup but... It is a scam company. Most of their branches are independent of each other. Each time you recruit someone you get a cut of his revenues. Sort of like a pyramid scheme. Also, they sell mainly mutual funds, mostly proprietary ones. The average Primerica client makes around $30,000. You are dealing with primarily small fry investors. Do a search of Primerica on Forbes, Bus Week, and Fortune and you will get some interesting though mainly negative articles.
Primerica is the Amway of the brokerage business. Stay away if possible. |

Don??t do anything with Primerica, stay away from these guys. First, they invited you to a conference and they talk basics things like 72 rule and shit and the funny thing is that they try to convince you they are the smarter persons on earth. Then they try to convince you to join them, so you have to pay your insurance licenses and serie 6. They told you if you pass they gave you back the money, SO!! The primerica clients are families with mid to low income. They are the scum of Citigroup. They are not a brokerage they are a financial services firm. You can only sell mutual funds, term-life insurance, variable annuities and I don??t know what else!!! For a brief Primerica do the dirty work of Citigroup even people at Smith Barney doesn??t know what the hell they do. So you will hear from them these things:

NOT TRUE!! THEY ARE PART FROM CITIGROUP WHO IS THE NUMBER 1 FINANCIAL SERVICES FIRM IN THE WORLD!!! Its like saying Scott Williams was the best player in the NBA back in the Jordan and Bulls era!! No Scott Williams was part from the best team of the NBA, far from be the best player.
They will tell you are an Analyst, Financial Planner, Advisor or whatever except a salesman. Damn you became a salesman!!! A person who's earnings are just a commission when sells a product is a SALESMAN!!!
