I am being offered financial planning training position with UBS Paine Webber in Houston. Do they compare to Goldman Sachs or Mogan Stanley?

As far as retail goes, UBS is really good. Morgan Stanley is almost identical and the there is almost no difference between the two. Goldman Sachs is on a whole different level. They deal with people who have big money (over $20 Million). Goldman jobs are nearly impossible to get, so if you have an opportunity go for it. For normal retail brokerage, UBS, MS, Merrill and SmithBarney are the only ones worth looking at.
