When I was starting out, I was concerned about working long hours and moving up the corporate ladder. I did both very quickly, but then you realize that you didn;t spend the time to make quality contacts that you can rely on later in life. I am now 37 and in a career transition, the hard work was great but I would trade that in for 4 or 5 close contacts that could help me land a position
